Cookies

Rodney made us cookies today! He is such a good husband! With his love for chocolate, though, he couldn't just leave them as just peanut butter cookies, he had to add chocolate chips, and he did it with a smile! :)

Bear Lake

This school year, both Rodney and I are ambassadors (hence the matching t-shirts):). We went to our ambassador retreat just before school started and it was at Bear Lake. It is so beautiful!! We're definetly going to try and make more trips up there before it gets too cold!

Sorry we haven't put anything new up for a while, but we haven't had internet for a couple weeks. Rod and I moved to Logan on the 18th and here are pictures of our new house!! We both really like it up here so far, the only downer is that we both love being close to our families and we can't go home as much as we would like. We decided that this is probably a good thing so we can be completely on our own for a little while. Well we consider ourselves lucky to be in the house we're in, I don't think we could have found a better deal!

Our New House in Logan

This is the outside of our house, yep we now have a garage, but as you can see, Rod's truck won't fit. Yeah, he was pretty bummed about it, actually we both were, but still it's going to be nice to go in the car in the winter and not have to scrape the snow off! Our house is connected in the garage to the neighbors garage, so they are twin homes. Also, they aren't completely finished with the landscaping around our house, they need to finish the sprinkling system and put grass in the front and back. Also, there will be a fence around the back yard.

This is the view of the living room from the front door. That is our bedroom down the hallway.

This is the view of the living room from the kitchen entry-way, looking at our front door.

This is just turned around in the entry-way looking into the kitchen area, facing the garage door.

This is the view of the kitchen standing by the garage door. I LOVE the space I have now! I've actually tried cooking new things now because I have the room that I didn't have before! That doesn't mean that I cook very good yet, but note the word "tried". :)

This is now down the hallway into our bedroom. We enjoy the sliding door that lets in a cool breeze at night.

This is right around the corner of the last picture into the master bathroom. There is a toilet and bath/shower inside the door.

This is the view just outside our bedroom down the other hallway. On the right is a coat closet and then just past that to the right is where we have our washer and dryer. The room at the end of the hall is our 3rd bedroom.

This is our 2nd bedroom that we turned into our computer room, or office. Yeah, we haven't exactly finished decorating, but at least we have things in place now.

This is right next to the office, our 2nd bathroom.

This is bedroom #3. We're pretty much using it for a storage place at the moment, but once we get a table in there, this is where I can do my scrapbooking and crafty stuff like that.

4-Wheeling Fun

This weekend we went for a 4-wheeler ride with Bruce and Linda. It was so much fun! We saw a lot of beautiful sights along the way. We went between Richfield and Cove Fort over by the Fremont Indian museum. We also saw a good camp groud that we may camp out at next weekend.

There were a TON of butterflies at one spot.

This is a huge rock wall with just this small space inbetween.

This is us at the highest lookout of our ride.

Isn't it so pretty?

Rod found his initials he had carved in a tree a long time ago!

We tried to see some bears.

New Truck

We recently bought a new Ford truck. As you would guess, it is Rod's "baby"!

Our Life in the Summer

Rod and I have so much fun together! We've especially had fun this summer staying at his mom and dad's. We've been able to stay at their house while we both work. Rod works for Carling's doing farm work, and I work for the BLM going out on the desert and doing studies. Most of all, we like to come home to each other!

Aren't we so cute together?
